Transport / Forwarding
Tiemex specialises in acting as a transport agent. We work with a finely meshed, superior network of independent drivers who transport goods in, to and from the Benelux, the German-speaking countries, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. In addition, Tiemex and Stefco are affiliated to Cargo Trans Logistik (CTL), a pan-European distribution network covering fixed routes every day, which means that we are also capable of offering intercontinental transport.
Storage and transshipment
Both Tiemex and Stefco offer extensive facilities for the storage and transshipment of goods. Together our logistics centres in Zevenaar and Andelst have a storage and transshipment area covering more than 12,000 m2 and space for 16,500 pallets. Both companies keep products in stock temporarily, which can be transported on call.
Value added services
Stefco has devoted itself to the provision of value added services. More than half of the goods involve additional work, such as sorting, packaging, pricing or labelling. The assembly department makes it possible to set up and assemble products.
Services
Customs services
If required, Tiemex and Stefco can take care of the administrative procedures required for Customs formalities, clearance and import duties. Naturally, this occurs largely online. Tiemex and Stefco also take care of transit documents and CBS returns. We have our own Customs warehouses in both Zevenaar and Andelst, where containers are handled, and C-spec clearance and storage occur. This has the advantage of our customers only having to pay import duties once the goods leave the warehouse.
